Dr. Eric Rice CCSP, CACCP, DCDoctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Eric, his wife Kailey and sons Everett and Beckett reside in Farmington and has been a chiropractor in the community for over a decade. Dr. Rice grew up in Apple Valley, a neighboring city to Rosemount and Burnsville. He was active in many sports while attending Apple Valley High School. This is where Dr. Rice discovered what chiropractic can do for the injured athlete. It was his sophomore year when a football injury opened his eyes to chiropractic and it just made sense for him to set his sights on becoming a chiropractor to help others. After this injury it became clear that there was much more to chiropractic than just injury care.
Following high school, Dr. Rice attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. While at the university, Dr. Rice was the President of the chiropractic club, played for the club lacrosse team and graduated with a degree in exercise science with a pre-professional emphasis in the spring of 2005.
For Dr. Rice, the decision to live and practice chiropractic in the communities he grew up in was easy. Having many family and friends in all the surrounding cities it seemed perfect to be in this area serving the community I've become so fond of. Dr. Rice loves the family based community at HealthPro Chiropractic and is excited to serve!
His passions include the following;
Prenatal - Dr. Rice is Webster Certified
Prenatal care is also a huge passion in our clinic, and holds a special place in my heart. When my wife became pregnant with our first child I began learning as much as I could about how to help her with the process and was able to assist her in having not one but both our boys at home, birthed naturally with only a midwife for additional assistance. Child birth is an amazing gift and the female body is unique in so many ways. Helping my wife through pregnancy and to prepare for birth was an amazing experience and I enjoy being a part of it.
Kiddos – Dr. Rice is fully certified by the largest and most well-known chiropractic pediatric association the international chiropractic pediatric association (ICPA).
He loves kids! One of his biggest passions is working with kiddos. This program required the completion of 14 Seminars, 2 Research projects (PBRNs) and 1 final Exam. This extra knowledge is helpful to better serve our kiddos and families. This certification Program is a comprehensive 16 module program designed to expand professional ability in adjusting techniques, evaluation and assessment of different stages of development: from pregnancy, birth, infancy throughout childhood.
Athletes - Dr. Rice is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and Graston certified.
He enjoys sports and wants you to experience your full potential whether you are an Olympic athlete or a weekend warrior! He has cared for all patients within these areas and everything in-between!
